The 2023 Competitive Season

Season 5: Battle to Greatness!

La Silph League Arena est la première ligue de PvP de Pokemon GO TM. Elle offre aux concurrents du monde entier une chance de prouver qu'ils sont les meilleurs de leur région, leur pays et du monde !

Programme de la Saison

Overview: A new season of Challenges

Get ready for a PvP Season full of new challenges! From January 1st, 2023 through September 30th, 2023, the Silph Arena will test tens of thousands of competitors around the world in the ultimate competitive challenge. Come prove your skills and show your community, nation, and the world that you're the very best in the premier competitive Pokemon GOTM PvP league.

Ranked tournaments are held at hundreds of local venues and as virtual, “remote” tournaments each month, are free-to-play, and are open to all ages. Everyone is welcome to compete! Simply find the next tournament near you on the Tournament Map and RSVP with a free Silph.gg account and you're ready to start climbing the leaderboards!

January Through June: Ranked Tournaments and Battle Towers

Three Waves lasting two months each will challenge competitors during the first part of the Season. Each Wave will feature two monthly themed Cups. Cups are designed with unique restrictions (types, limited bans, Generation restriction, etc.) to test your knowledge of Pokémon, strategic creativity, and battling abilities. With the announcement of each Wave, the two Monthly Cup’s details will be announced to provide competitors ample time to prepare their teams. Additionally, selected GO Battle League themed Cups may be made eligible for ranked play, as well as open Great League.

This Season will see the return of Battle Towers! Battle Towers will provide opportunities for invitations to the Silph Arena World Championships to the winners, and direct qualification to Continental Championships to the runner-ups.

July through September: Championship Season

Winners of eligible 8+ round tournaments, competitors at the top of eligible National Leaderboards, the highest globally ranked competitors, along with the Battle Towers runner-ups will be invited to battle at the Continental Championships held throughout July and August. The competitors who conquer these elite competitions will be some of the most skilled, elite battlers in the world!

In September, the Arena will invite the Continental Champions, Battle Tower Champions and a few other top battlers to the most elite PvP contest of the Season - the Silph Arena World Championship! There, the Silph Arena World Champion will be crowned and write their name into legend.

Classement des Joueurs et Qualifications

Augmenter le classement du joueur

Competitors’ ranking will be affected by wins and losses in ranked tournaments hosted by Silph League member communities when played through Silph.gg. Many factors are considered behind the scenes when calculating player ranking, but the fastest way to rank up will be performing well in your ranked matches - and every battle win can count!

Win/loss ratio, strength of opponents, and many other factors will play a role in determining rank. This can include performing well in Arena-accredited, ranked Open Great League and selected GO Battle League themed tournaments - but simply playing more tournaments is not necessary nor enough to rank well locally or globally.

Qualifications du championnat

The path to Continental and World Championships will be tough, and few will reach the end, but the way to the top is not limited to a single path. Top ranked trainers, and others will have the opportunity to compete at the prestigious Continental and World Championships at the end of Season, but you must have at least one 2023 Silph Arena Season Trophy on your record to be eligible for the Championship Season.
